Since 2000, AMISnet provides advocacy to other structures in the field of new media and especially in the inter-action between different technologies and communication platforms. Thanks to its experience, the agency set up Ammannet, the first radio and internet production center in the whole Middle East, today a FM radio. In this area, AMISnet also worked in synergy with the International Civil Service and IPYL to put in place a media center in Hebron, Palestine, while currently the main activity is the creation of a new community radio station in Birzeit area, Shabab Fm. In those projects, the role of the agency was the technical design and the set up of studios, the identification of the best equipments according to the aims of the projects, the technical and methodological training of journalists.
At present AMISnet is also involved in DRC, reinforcing independent radio stations within the frame of the “Media Pluralistes pour la Paix” project promoted by Intitut Panos Paris. The actions take place in 4 different cities, Kisangani, Bukavu, Lubumbashi, Mbuji Mayi where we aim to enhance a synergy process among radios through a shared server and long range VSat/ wi fi internet connections.
Dal 2000, AMISnet mette a profitto di altre strutture le proprie conoscenze nell’ambito dei nuovi media e dell’integrazione tra tecnologie e piattaforme di comunicazione. Abbiamo messo su il primo centro di produzione radio e internet in tutto il Medio Oriente, oggi una vera e propria radio in FM, Ammannet Radio . In questa zona del mondo abbiamo continuato a lavorare con il Servizio Civile Internazionale e il IPYL per la creazione di un media centre nella città di Hebron, e stiamo attualmente finalizzando la creazione di una nuova emittente comunitaria, Shabab Fm, a Birzeit. In tutti questi progetti, il nostro ruolo e’ andato dal disegno tecnico degli studi, all’allestimento e reperimento dei materiali, fino alla formazione metodologica dei giornalisti.
Oltre al Medio Oriente siamo attualmente impegnati anche in Repubblica Democratica del Congo dove, nel quadro di un grande programma su Media e Democrazia siamo impegnati nel rafforzamento delle radio indipendenti in quattro province diverse: Kisangani, Bukavu, Lubumbashi, Mbuji Mayi. In questo paese abbiamo messo a profitto le conoscenze raccolte nell’ambito delle trasmissioni Wi Fi che servono a mettere in collegamento le radio con l’obiettivo di farle lavorare in sinergia.
